Ceara Wilson

Assistant Director, Social Media and Student Employment

Hello, and thank you for visiting the Communications Academy!

As the assistant director, my role is to support our student employees as they grow in their current positions and prepare for long-term career success. My goal is for every student to have the chance to produce meaningful work, build relationships with mentors, and imagine their future paths.

Much of what I’ve achieved in my career connects directly to the experiences and guidance I gained as both a student and now a staff member at the University of Oregon.

The academy was designed with career readiness at its core. Students gain hands-on experience working as part of a professional communications team, strengthening their skills, developing a portfolio, and growing a network that will help launch their careers.

I’m excited to watch how the Communications Academy continues to shape the journeys of current and future Ducks while contributing to the important work of University Communications. Go Ducks!
