Application Process

When positions open, they will be posted on this website and Handshake. Typically, open positions are posted in late summer/early fall, and/or end of winter term.
Application period
Open positions will be posted for several weeks and available for UO students to apply. Read more about our eligibility requirements.
Interviews and offers
After the application period has ended, applications will be reviewed and select candidates will be invited for interviews. Following interviews, the selected candidates will receive job offers. Those not selected will be notified as well.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students must maintain enrollment for three of the four academic terms.
  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 8 credit hours per term.
  • Graduate students must be enrolled for at least 5 credit hours per term.

We are looking for students who:

  • Are working towards a bachelor's or master's degree (all majors welcome)
  • Are passionate about the University of Oregon and want to make an impact
  • Are interested in gaining experience in the communications
  • Are eager to learn and ask questions
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Are community-minded
  • Are dependable and responsible
  • Manage their time efficiently
