Carol Keese is the vice president for university communications and the chief marketing officer at the University of Oregon. She joined the UO in December 2023. She previously worked at the University of Virginia as the associate vice president for marketing and brand strategy. Prior to that, Keese was the vice president of marketing for Children's National Health System. Her experience also includes leadership roles at Johns Hopkins Medicine and the University of Virginia Health System. She earned her bachelor's at the University of Virginia, holds a master's in business administration in marketing from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership program at UVA's Darden School of Business.
