The Issues Management team provides support and guidance to the campus community as potential issues arise, including crisis communications. Staff acts as the public information officer for the UO Police Department and for the university during emergencies.
When a crisis arises, Issues Management represents the UO’s interests by providing accurate and timely information to the campus community and media. Issues Management staff are first responders for events and incidents on campus.
Issues Management also supports Government and Community Relations’ efforts as they relate to crisis communications or campus incidents.
