The social media engagement and community practice guidelines have been published on the Oregon Brand Guide website. The guidelines update and replace former social media guidelines, and provide direction for responsible and effective engagement on university-affiliated social media. They outline how to foster positive interaction while upholding free speech and ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards. These guidelines also help account managers evaluate and respond appropriately to all types of posts and comments, from supportive to potentially harmful or unlawful content.
