The Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO) marks are to be used exclusively by the ASUO executive branch for official purposes related to student government activities, events, initiatives, and merchandise, while in accordance with the general university brand guidelines. The marks should not be screened, cropped, or altered in any way. The ASUO mark and ASUO wordmark should not be combined to make another signature.
ASUO Mark
The ASUO mark may only be used in the color variations below. Backgrounds are for illustration purposes only; the mark should not appear in a square background.
ASUO Mark Clear Space and Size
Maintain size and space standards when using the ASUO mark to ensure it is prominent, legible, and impactful. The space around the mark is based on the height of the webfoot used inside the ASUO mark. The minimum clear space should be this measurement all around.
In print, the ASUO mark should be no less than one inch in diameter to maintain the mark’s legibility. The mark should be sized proportionally to meet this standard. There is no maximum size limit but use discretion when enlarging the mark. It should never dominate the page but should be clear and distinctive as the association’s identifying mark.
As a stand-alone, the mark can be used as a dominant element.
ASUO Wordmark
When space is limited and cannot accommodate the ASUO mark at its minimum size, such as on pens, use the ASUO wordmark instead. The wordmark is available in left-aligned and centered justifications. The wordmark may only be used in the color variations listed below:
- One-Color Black
- One-Color Grey (PMS 445)
- One-Color UO Green (PMS 356)
- One-Color UO Yellow (PMS 107)
- Reverse White
ASUO Wordmark Clear Space and Size
The space around the wordmark is based on two times the width of a letter O inside the wordmark. The minimum clear space should be this width all around. The ASUO wordmark should be no less than 3/8” (.375”) high to maintain its legibility.
